On the usual Saturday morning jaunt to Silloth. Tried stalking the oystercatchers on the beach, but needed a longer lens to make it worth the effort, so gave up and went for the detail (as usual). The sun catching the back of this seaweed caught my eye – rather surprised at the range of colours in something that looks so drab at first glance.
