Apparently the last time we had a village party on the green in Allerby was Charles' and DI's wedding. There was general agreement that we didn't want to wait 'til the next royal wedding for the next one.
Games for the kids (of all ages), oodles of cake, pie and pea supper and large quantities of wine - all in all an excellent job. Oh, and we raised £100 for the Air Ambulance - yay!
Need to get a photo off to the Times and Star in the next couple of days.
