With apologies to all you arachnophobes out there, but I'm rather pleased with this one.
was busy snapping the frog in our pond when this little guy popped his/her head over the parapet.
Quite a challenge as it was less than a centimetre long, but it was obliging enough to stand still and pose for me.
Another shot with the ring flash - hence the circular highlights in all 6 of the eyes. Seem to have caught the focus on the face just right as well. This shot is cropped to about quarter the overall area of the original - so I think the quality has held up well.
