Managed to get myself a bargain ring-flash on e-bay earlier this week, so thought it was time to try it out.
Proper close-up photography is rather more challenging than I expected - particularly the exposure angle, but this one came out well enough to show as my photo of the day.
Am looking forward to trying out the flash for other purposes as well - it has some interesting uses in portrait photography. Watch this space.
